Freelance platform engineer based in Cologne. I build and operate Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters for teams that have outgrown the part where “it works on staging” was good enough.

Most days that means infrastructure-as-code in Ansible or Terraform, GitOps workflows, and the unglamorous monitoring work that prevents the 03:00 phone call. Some days it means deleting things.

Certified Kubernetes Administrator and Application Developer since 2021. Comfortable on premises, in private clouds, and on AWS, Azure or anywhere with a serial console.

This site counts page views with Umami, open-source analytics running on my own server in Germany. It works without cookies and stores nothing on your device. It records the page you viewed, the referring page, your country, browser and device type. From your IP address and browser signature it derives a daily-changing, non-reversible identifier so that visits within one day can be counted together; the IP address itself is not stored.
